Rose K. Stertz – Trustee
Term in Office: 01-01-2016 to 12-31-2019
Rose was elected to the Board of Trustees in November 2015 and was sworn in on January 1, 2016. She grew up on the west side of town and attended the then College of Mount St. Joseph where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Human Resources. Besides serving as a Trustee, she and her husband own two LaRosa’s restaurants. Her past employers include The Procter & Gamble Company (Advertising, Employee Relations and Human Resources), St. Ursula Academy (Director of Special Events), local elementary schools (substitute teacher) and Century 21 (real estate sales).
Rose has extensive volunteer/board experience with many township organizations: Delhi Township Republican Club, Civic Association, Bicentennial Committee, Skirt Game, Police Levy and Financial Advisory Board; St. Dominic Church and School: Building Steering Committee, Technology Team, Fundraising Coordinator, Education Commission, PTO Board, ‘Everybody Counts’ and Girl Scouts. Other organizations include: ProKids, Indiana University Parent Board, Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati and Junior Achievement.
As a Trustee, Rose advocates for strong public safety for the Township, fiscal transparency and responsibility, strong community ties and business development. She is married, has two children and three grandchildren.
