Delhi Township elected officials and staff hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to inaugurate Artisans Collective at its grand opening on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. “Artisans Collective is a perfect sales outlet for the home artist or crafter. Unique gifts and home items are available for purchase. The Trustees welcome Sue and her vendors to Delhi,” said Trustee Rose Stertz.
The newly renovated store, on Delhi Pike next to J Michael’s Salon & Spa, is a boutique style gift shop which features unique items handcrafted by local artisans. The shop is stocked with a nice variety of goods on display including jewelry, pottery, sculptures, home décor, bath products and customizable giftware.
Owner Sue Freudiger enjoyed showing guests around the shop and sharing her story at the grand opening. She said that they will always be adding new merchandise, so be sure to stop by the shop to see what’s on display, and to check back regularly!
Future plans include using e-commerce so customers will be able to shop from home, and the addition of a private party room that can rented or that artists can use to demo their craft. Be sure to follow Artisans Collective on Facebook (Artisans Cincy) and Twitter (@artisanscincy) to learn about shop updates and special monthly events.
