PLAN THE PIKE PHASE II: COMMUNITY INPUT
As part of a continuing effort to implement the recommendations of the Delhi Pike Strategic Redevelopment Plan, Delhi Township is currently considering Zoning Map and Resolution amendments to meet the long range vision of the Plan.
On July 19, 2017, the Township hosted a Community Engagement Meeting to discuss possible zoning options and opportunities within the target area. Following are links to the items presented during the public meeting.

The Delhi Township “Plan the Pike” Strategic Redevelopment Plan was designed to help the townships elected and appointed officials, administration, residents, developers and business operators develop a shared understanding of Delhi Pikes future needs regarding land use and the best strategies for ensuring a successful and strong economic future for the township. Like many developed communities, Delhi Township enjoys a number of assets, but the community will benefit from a long-term strategy to guide its efforts to achieve desire land uses and development characteristics both today and into the future. The “Plan the Pike” Strategic Redevelopment Plan has received local and regional support and accolades and in 2016 it was awarded the Frank F. Ferris Award for Planning Excellence. This competitive award is awarded to local planning commissions or planning committees whose efforts have contributed to the elevation of planning principals, greater awareness of the value of planning, and the improved quality of life. As a result of the Plan, three (3) development sites were identified as focused catalytic redevelopment sites based on their availability, visibility, analysis of market realities and urban design opportunities. DELHI PIKE BIKE PATH STUDY
This study, which is a component of the Delhi Township “Plan the Pike” Strategic Redevelopment Plan; defines and assess the factors that contribute to the benefits should a 1.1 mile long asphalt multi-use trail be constructed from Mount Saint Joseph University at Neeb Road to the central business district at Anderson Ferry Road. This study focuses on economic benefits and factors such as pollution reduction, crash reduction, health benefits, property valuation and construction and maintenance impacts. At this time, the Township is still evaluating the results of the study and it has not made any decisions on whether or not move forward with any projects related to the study.
