Delhi Township is currently accepting applications for the Board of Zoning Appeals and Zoning Commission. Members are appointed by the Board of Trustees and serve five (5) year terms.
The Board of Zoning of Appeals is called upon to meet when needed to make decisions on requests for variances and special zoning certificates, suggestions for amendments to the Zoning Resolution & Map, and to consider the adoption of rules on how to conduct business. Members are asked to be available to meet on an as-needed basis, at 6:00 p.m., on the first and/or second Tuesday of every month.
The Zoning Commission is called upon to meet to initiate amendments to the Zoning Resolution, to make recommendations to the Board of Trustees, and to consider the adoption of rules on how to conduct business. Members are asked to be available to meet on an as-needed basis, at 6:00 p.m., on the first and/or third Wednesday of every month.
Delhi Township residents who are interested in serving the community, and would like to have a voice in the decision-making process serving on either the Board of Zoning Appeals or the Zoning Commission, may complete and submit an application and letter of intent to the Community Development Director, Gregory J.
