Delhi Township Firefighters will again participate in the Fight for Air Climb charitable event to raise money for the American Lung Association. The event will take place at Crew Tower, 441 Vine Street, Cincinnati, OH, on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Participants will be timed as they climb the Crew Tower’s 45 floors, a total of 804 steps, as they compete in one of four climb challenge levels. A team of nine Delhi Township Firefighters will compete against other departments in the Firefighter Challenge and are encouraged to wear full structural firefighter personal protective equipment. The department is looking to retain the 6th straight win of this event! There is always great competition, but our firefighters have been training hard this season!
Please consider supporting your Delhi Township Firefighter Team with a monetary donation, or by coming to the event to cheer us on! Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by the law. To learn more about this event or how you can make a monetary donation, please see the Delhi Firefighters’ ALA Event Page at http://action.lung.org/goto/Delhi2018 or call Lt. Dan Albertz at 513-922-2011.
The Delhi Township Fire Department’s educational programs support those who wish to stop smoking and give people with COPD the tools to live fuller lives.
