The Ohio House of Representatives currently has a bill to consider that would regulate fair pricing for municipal provided water and/or sewer services to non-residents. If this bill passed, it would require equal pricing for Township residents (non-residents) and residents of the municipal water and/or sewer provider. If not, the municipal provider would lose state funding now and for the future.
An article from the Ohio Township Association on the bill can be found here which provides a more detailed overview of the issue.
Delhi Township passed Resolution 2018-208 on October 30, 2018 to support the passage of H.B. 602. We would encourage residents to do the same by contacting our local Representative Bill Seitz and Senator Lou Terhar , along with Speaker of the House Ryan Smith and Ohio Senate President Larry Obhof.
