Posted on: April 20th, 2021

Would you consider participating in a survey to help us identify how we can create a healthier community?

Residents of Delhi Township are invited to participate in a community-wide health survey.  The information collected in this survey will help your elected officials better understand your concerns, challenges and needs related to your health, so that we can work in a cooperative effort with our partners to implement strategies that will keep all members of our community healthy.

What is being asked of you:  This online survey will ask basic questions about your health, what makes being healthy easy or hard, and how Delhi Township is supporting your health.

Things to know before completing the survey:

  • The deadline to complete the survey is May 30, 2021.
  • The survey is optimized for computers AND for mobile devices.
  • The survey is anonymous (no one will know your identity) and your responses will not be shared.
  • At the end of the survey, you will be linked to a separate page for an opportunity to enter a drawing for a $100 Amazon Gift Card. There will be two drawings and two chances to win!  To enter the drawing, you will need to provide your name and a phone number or email address.  Your drawing entry cannot be matched to your survey.

Be a responsible dog owner!

Posted on: March 29th, 2021

As the weather warms, it’s the perfect time to get outside with your dog.  It’s also a great time to refresh your knowledge on being a responsible and respectful dog owner.

In case you did not know, Delhi Township enforces several regulations regarding your control of your canine companion.

Dog continually barking?  Resolution 1991-155 allows the Police Department to issue a minor misdemeanor citation for habitual barking, howling or yelping of one’s dog in the Township.

Dog running loose?  State law provides for the citation of a dog owner or keeper for allowing a dog to run loose or not under control within the Township.  This current state law is Ohio Revised Code Chapter 955

Dangerous dog?  State law also provides a process for the Township Police Department to cite someone for a dangerous or vicious dog, also through Ohio Revised Code Chapter 955

Contact the Police Department at (513) 922-0060 if a situation with a dog arises, or if you have questions about these regulations.

If it is a life-threatening situation please call 9-1-1.
