Parks & Recreation / Delhi Park
Delhi Park is the community’s first park established in 1954 with an original purchase of 16 ½ acres. Over the years, this central park has grown to a 50+ acre recreational/sports facility including the Glen Carder Lodge. It is a hub of activity year-round for various sports events, educational programs, entertainment, and family gatherings.
At any time during the year, you will see its nine ball fields busy with Knothole games, girls softball, and over 400 adult softball games. During the fall, you can easily catch any one of the numerous football or soccer games being played. Two tennis courts are also available for use by park visitors. There is also a walking trail and playgrounds that are popular year round.
Activities are not limited to athletics. Delhi Park has various summer programs which include bicycle and fire safety, dance and drill team, drama, arts and crafts, karate, and foreign language classes, just to name a few. Delhi Park is also the host of the annual Delhi Skirt Game and the popular Concerts in the Park Series.
The Clearview Lake area has come alive with green grass and beautiful trees! The property cleanup phase of this project has brought about so much excitement within the community. Each day we see more and more park visitors enjoying a walk around the lake on the newly paved 1/4 mile walking trail.
